The New Haven Free Public Library and Connecticut artist Rashmi teamed up for Celebrate New Haven: A Collaborative City-Wide Art Project, a photo collage created by the local community at all five library locations. Participants submitted photographs of the City of New Haven and its unique neighborhoods, which were used as elements in ten large co-created murals. Each library created two collage panels; one to remain on view at the local library and the other which will be part of a six-panel installation at the Ives Main Library, representing the New Haven Free Public Libraries and their neighborhoods.
